In September last year, Effie was diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma. These brain tumours are rare and aggressive and unfortunately there is no known cure. She is only 4 years old.
Dom, Rosie, Effie, and Safa have been in Sydney since January as they undergo a clinical trial with Effie. They’re hoping to spend quality time together and make lasting memories as a family. I, Xanthe (Dom's sister), want to ease their financial worries, especially since they’re 800km from home and unable to work. That’s why I decided to start a fundraiser that’s close to their hearts, and that’s where Flowers for Effie tee’s come in! This is something that has been in the works for a while now.
Effie adores picking flowers and loves the colour pink, so we combined the two to create a special tee. We even added a second colour option! All profits from these tees will go directly to Effie’s account that’s controlled by Dom and Rosie. They can use the funds however they see fit.
I hope this small effort creates beautiful memories for them.
